General terms and conditions of contract

What you agree with us when you book: what the trip includes, how payment works, what happens if you cancel or if we have to change something, and who to complain to if something goes wrong.

1. Who organises and who sells

  • Company name: Uniski Vacaciones S.L.
  • VAT number (CIF): B-59988881
  • Registered address: Calle Mallorca, 300, 08037 Barcelona, España
  • Travel agency licence: GC112MD
  • Telephone: 93 459 36 08 · Email: mallorca@uniski.es
  • Registered with the Commercial Registry: — ⚠️ PENDIENTE

Depending on the trip, Uniski acts as the organiser (when we combine accommodation with a ski pass, lessons, equipment rental or transfers and sell it for a single price) or as a retailer selling services provided by others. Each booking states what you have contracted; the voucher and the confirmation say who provides each service.

2. What counts as package travel and what does not

Package travel means booking together at least two different travel services for the same trip (for example accommodation plus a ski pass), with the guarantees of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 as amended following Directive (EU) 2015/2302 on package travel.

Booking a single service — accommodation only, or a ski pass only — is not package travel and is governed by the terms of the provider supplying it, which are shown before you pay.

Before you commit we give you the relevant standard information form, setting out the rights you are entitled to in each case.

3. Price, what is included and what is not

The price you see is the total for the dates, occupancy and services selected, taxes included unless stated otherwise. Amounts are shown in euros.

Not included, unless the booking expressly says so: transfers and travel to the destination, food and drink not covered by the board basis, tourist taxes payable at the destination, optional insurance, ski equipment, lessons, accommodation extras and any personal expenses.

The price may be revised upwards or downwards only because of a change in the price of passenger transport resulting from the cost of fuel, a change in taxes or chargeable fees, or a change in exchange rates, and never within the twenty days before departure. An increase of more than 8% entitles you to terminate the contract without penalty.

4. Payment

When you book you pay a deposit and the balance before the trip starts, by the deadline stated in your booking. The exact amount of both is shown before you pay and in the confirmation email.

We accept card payment through a secure bank gateway, and bank transfer. With a transfer, the booking stays pending until we receive proof of payment; if it does not arrive by the stated deadline, the booking is cancelled automatically and the places are released.

Failure to pay the balance on time is treated as withdrawal and the charges in clause 6 apply.

5. Changes and transfer of the contract

If you need to change dates, occupancy or services, we ask the provider: the answer depends on them and on availability, and it may involve a price difference or fees. We confirm the cost to you before applying any change.

You may transfer your booking to someone else who meets the required conditions, giving us at least seven calendar days' notice before the trip starts. The transferor and the transferee are jointly and severally liable for the outstanding payment and for any costs the transfer generates.

If before departure we are forced to make a significant change to an essential element, we tell you immediately and you may accept the change or terminate the contract without penalty, with a refund of what you have paid.

6. If you cancel

You can cancel at any time before the trip starts. Uniski charges no administration fees of its own and no penalty: the only amount withheld is whatever each provider retains under its own policy, which is shown on the rate itself before you pay and is recorded in your booking.

The amount to be refunded therefore depends on what you booked and on when you cancel, and may range from a full refund to losing the entire amount on non-refundable rates, which are always identified as such before you book them.

Cancellations are requested from your customer area or by writing to info@uniski.es. Refunds are made using the same payment method you used.

In the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination significantly affecting the trip, you have the right to terminate the contract before it starts without paying any penalty, with a refund of the payments made.

7. If we cancel

If we cancel the trip for reasons not attributable to you, we refund everything you have paid in full. Unless the cancellation is due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances or to the minimum number of participants notified not being reached, you will also be entitled to the compensation provided for under package travel legislation.

8. Liability

As organiser we are liable for the proper performance of the services included in package travel, whether or not they are provided by a third party. If you notice a lack of conformity during the trip, report it to the provider and to us as soon as possible so that it can be put right.

We are not liable for failures attributable to you, to a third party unconnected with the provision of the services, or to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.

Conditions at the ski resort (open runs, lifts in service, amount of snow) depend on the weather and on the resort itself. The partial or total closure of the slopes does not in itself entitle you to a refund of the accommodation; ski passes are governed by each resort's own policy.

9. Documentation, insurance and traveller protection

You are responsible for carrying valid personal documentation. Skiers' details (name, date of birth and, where the provider requires it, an identity document) are requested because they are needed to issue ski passes and lessons.

We recommend taking out assistance and cancellation insurance. If you take it out with us, its cover and exclusions are those of the insurer's policy, which is provided to you with the booking.

Insolvency protection: — ⚠️ PENDIENTE (institution, type of guarantee and policy or bond number; publication is mandatory).

Public liability insurance: — ⚠️ PENDIENTE (insurer and policy number).

10. Complaints and dispute resolution

You may address any complaint to info@uniski.es or in writing to Calle Mallorca, 300, 08037 Barcelona. We keep official complaint forms available to consumers.

Consumer arbitration: — ⚠️ PENDIENTE (state whether the company is a member of the Spanish consumer arbitration system).

The European Commission provides consumers with an online dispute resolution platform available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

11. Data protection and applicable law

The processing of your data is governed by our Privacy policy; the use of cookies, by the Cookie policy.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, and as you are a consumer, the courts and tribunals of your place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
