Espot

Espot is the gateway to the Aigüestortes national park, which says most of it: you ski surrounded by some of the finest scenery in the Pyrenees. It is a human-sized resort with no queues, mostly through trees, where learning is easy and nothing feels rushed. It shares a pass with Port Ainé, so one trip gives you two mountains. And the village, stone and slate, keeps its old character.
